All books are in good antiquarian condition, unless specified otherwise. Minor blemishes are not always mentioned. The condition of a book also dictates its price.
Our books are handled with care. We therefore do not accept any liability for loss or damage during transport.
The availability of books on offer on the website is free of any obligations or liability in case to prior sale; in case prepayment has been made for a book that subsequently turns out to be no longer available, a refund for the book in question will be made.
Books can only be returned after consultation with Scrinium within 7 days after the book or books in question have been received by the customer. Return shipment will be at the risk of the customer. In such case all shipping costs are to be paid by the customer, unless there turns out to be any serious failure which was not mentioned by Scrinium on the website.
If a book is returned to us after due consultation with, and permission by, Scrinium, refund will only be made if the book or books in question arrive in the same condition as that in which it or they left our stock.
We attempt to handle orders as rapidly as possible, usually within 48 (working day) hours. When ordering books that are not in stock, customers are kindly requested to allow for a slight increase in delivery time. In such cases up-to-date shipping information will be regularly supplied to the customer by email. In the case of increased delivery time the customer will be under no obligation to go through with the purchase; the book will only be ordered with the consent of the customer. Consent being given, the customer cannot cancel his/her order.
Prices are in Euro (€), excluding 6% VAT. This 6% VAT only has to be paid by European Union customers. Shipping is to be paid by the customer. New Dutch books will be sold at Dutch (fixed) prices, due to Dutch law. Prepayment is required except in certain specific cases.

Payment is possible by Euro bank transfer, Ideal or PayPall or by credit card: Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Dutch customers can also pay with official Dutch Boekenbonnen. You are requested to ship them by registered mail (in Holland: TNT - Aangetekende verzending).
We ship our books either by Dutch TNT or by German Deutsche Post / DHL, depending the costs and / or the shipping time, or the value of the books in question. Please notify us by email if you have any special wishes concerning the method of either delivery or shipping. We will inform you of the exact costs.
