His last edition was the ninth (1954) and to the twelfth edition (1965) D. Tabachovitz added a supplement. (...) The present edition is the first produced by F. Rehkopf. The whole work has been revised and enlarged, the format and presentation are much improved and the indexes are usefully extended. In other directions brevity has been studied. Not all the eliminations are welcome (...).
